Juventus secure narrow 2-1 Europa League victory over AZ Alkmaar

Juventus maintained their unbeaten run in the Europa League with a tight 2-1 victory away at AZ Alkmaar. Forward Randal Kolo Muani was the standout performer on the night, playing a central role in both of the visitors' goals to help Luciano Spalletti’s side secure all three points.

A decisive display

The breakthrough arrived in the 19th minute when Kolo Muani set up Teun Koopmeiners, who coolly slotted home against his former club. Before the interval, Kolo Muani turned scorer himself, combining with Nick Woltemade to extend the lead. While the hosts pushed hard in the second half, the Bianconeri defended their advantage despite a late goal from Mexx Meerdink.

The match ended on a tense note for Juventus, as a stoppage-time effort from Mees de Wit was disallowed for offside. The result provides a much-needed boost for the Italian side as they continue their European campaign.
