Manchester United wonderkid JJ Gabriel closing in on Real Madrid transfer

Manchester United's promising talent JJ Gabriel appears to be edging closer to a departure from the club. The 16-year-old, who has been with the Red Devils since 2022, shocked the organization in September by formally requesting a transfer.

Since that announcement, the teenager has not made an appearance for any of the club's squads. Despite his youth, he is considered one of the most exciting prospects in world football, drawing significant attention from top European clubs including Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain.

A move to Spain

According to media reports, Gabriel has officially turned down an approach from Paris Saint-Germain. The young star is currently training in Castelldefels and has set his sights on a move to La Liga. While Barcelona sporting director Deco previously distanced his club from the situation, Real Madrid has emerged as the frontrunner.

The Spanish giants are reportedly prepared to meet a total financial package of approximately £8.5 million. This deal would include a three-year contract for the player, valued at over £850,000 per season, along with necessary compensation for his family and agent fees. Negotiations are being managed by agent Ali Barat as all parties work toward finalizing the youngster's future.
