Vinicius Jr handed four-match ban, ruling him out of El Clásico

Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr has been suspended for four matches following a red card against Villarreal, confirming he will miss the upcoming El Clásico.
Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr has received a four-match suspension following his dismissal in last Saturday's victory over Villarreal. The Spanish Football Federation's Disciplinary Committee issued the ban after the Brazilian was sent off for pulling the hair of Nathan Saliba during the match.
Disciplinary ruling confirmed
The committee imposed a two-match suspension for violent conduct, as the incident occurred while the ball was not in play. An additional two-match ban was added due to the player's aggressive protests toward referee Isidro Diaz de Mera following the red card. Real Madrid attempted to appeal the decision, but the committee rejected their claims, citing both the official's report and video evidence.
Vinicius Jr later expressed regret regarding the incident, stating: > "Sorry to the team and the Real Madrid fans" — Vinicius Jr
As a result of the suspension, the forward will miss upcoming LaLiga fixtures against Sevilla, Barcelona, Racing Santander, and Valencia. He is not expected to return to domestic action until late November. While he will miss the highly anticipated El Clásico on October 25, he remains available for Champions League fixtures.
