Spalletti mulls tactical adjustments for high-stakes Lazio clash
Luciano Spalletti is considering rotating his Juventus squad for the upcoming Serie A match against an unbeaten Lazio side.
Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti has hinted that he may not field Nick Woltemade and Randal Kolo Muani together for Sunday’s Serie A encounter against Lazio. Despite both players scoring in the recent Europa League victory over Celta Vigo, the manager is looking to manage his resources carefully.
Strategic selection
"We need to expand the range of starters and divide up the time on the field,"
Luciano Spalletti
"Lazio have two physical centre-backs, so it will be difficult to get through them unless we have bodies in the box."
Luciano Spalletti
Lazio arrive at the Allianz Stadium in excellent form, remaining undefeated this season under Gennaro Gattuso. While Juventus have historically dominated this fixture, the Biancocelesti are currently sitting five points ahead of the Turin giants in the league table. Gattuso has demanded a fearless approach from his squad, urging them to trade blows with their opponents regardless of the prestige of the home side.
