Sarri hails Atalanta progress before AC Milan test

Maurizio Sarri has expressed satisfaction with the recent development of his Atalanta squad following a difficult period in the Italian top flight. After breaking a three-game losing streak with a victory over Venezia and a midweek Conference League win against Pafos, the manager believes his team is finding its identity.

Building momentum

"We have found a way to be more dangerous in attack; now we need to seek greater balance and solidity too."

Atalanta now face an undefeated AC Milan side managed by Ruben Amorim. While the Bergamo club has historically performed well against the Rossoneri, they face the challenge of breaking a recent trend of away defeats in the league. Sarri remains focused on long-term growth as his side prepares for this high-stakes fixture.
