Richarlison Calls for Police Inquiry Into Senator Over Property Dispute

Tottenham forward Richarlison has accused Senator Flavio Bolsonaro of seizing his private island without payment.
Tottenham forward Richarlison has formally requested that the Brazilian federal police investigate Senator Flavio Bolsonaro regarding the alleged unlawful takeover of his private island. The player claims that ownership of the property, which he purchased between 2020 and 2021, was compromised during a period of ongoing paperwork.
A Disputed Takeover
"I'm asking the federal police to help and investigate this properly because we want answers. I want to recover my money, not get the island back."
Richarlison
According to the footballer, he had previously rejected multiple purchase offers from the senator. Richarlison alleges that Bolsonaro and an individual named Willian Tomas occupied the land within 24 hours while legal documentation was pending. The forward stated he has not received any payment for the property, on which he claims to have invested approximately R$ 10 million.
Richarlison, who has been sidelined from Roberto De Zerbi's first-team squad at Tottenham, shared his version of events via social media. He indicated that if he recovers the funds, he intends to donate a portion to a hospital in his hometown. He has also encouraged his followers to seek clarity on the matter ahead of the upcoming presidential run-off.
