Luis Enrique remains defiant following Kvaratskhelia injury blow

PSG manager Luis Enrique insists it is business as usual despite Khvicha Kvaratskhelia suffering a season-ending ACL injury.
Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has stated that his team will maintain their current approach despite a significant injury blow. Star player Khvicha Kvaratskhelia faces a long-term absence after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury during the club's 4-2 Champions League victory against Barcelona.
Staying the course
The injury crisis deepened during the same match, with Ousmane Dembele expected to miss several weeks and Marquinhos also picking up an issue. Despite these setbacks, Luis Enrique remains focused on the upcoming match against league leaders Lyon, which was rescheduled due to local protests.
"It will be business as usual. I don't want to change anything I've done, but I also want to change."
Luis Enrique
The manager expressed sympathy for Kvaratskhelia, acknowledging the difficulty of the situation while emphasizing the need for the player to stay positive. He remains confident that the winger will eventually return stronger. In the absence of Kvaratskhelia, the team will look to players like Desire Doue to provide the necessary attacking spark.
"He is and will be very important for us. He'll come back stronger, I have no doubt."
