Neymar sent off after chaotic outburst in Santos match

Neymar was dismissed during Santos' match against Bahia following a series of aggressive incidents and a VAR review.
The 32nd round of the Brazilian Serie A descended into chaos as Santos hosted Bahia. Neymar, the star forward for the home side, repeatedly lost his temper throughout the match, ultimately resulting in a red card and a heated confrontation on the touchline.
The tension began in the 30th minute when Neymar was pushed by Bahia's Nestor near the goal line. In retaliation, Neymar smashed the ball at his opponent, earning him a yellow card. This booking marks his ninth of the season, triggering an automatic suspension that rules him out of the upcoming derby against Palmeiras.
A dramatic dismissal
Matters escalated when Neymar pushed Bahia head coach Rogério Ceni. Early in the second half, Neymar was observed covering his mouth while arguing with Nestor. Following a VAR review, the referee issued a straight red card. Despite the dismissal, Neymar refused to leave the pitch, instead chasing and attacking his opponent, which sparked another massive scuffle between the two squads.
