Vincent Kompany sends message to Bayern Munich team following recovery

Bayern Munich assistant coach Aaron Danks confirmed he received a message from Vincent Kompany after the team's 3-1 victory over Freiburg.
Bayern Munich assistant coach Aaron Danks revealed that he received a personal message from manager Vincent Kompany following the team's 3-1 away win against Freiburg on Sunday. The victory, secured through goals from Dayot Upamecano, Serge Gnabry, and Michael Olise, propelled the reigning champions back to the top of the Bundesliga table.
A supportive message from afar
Kompany missed the match after collapsing at the club's training ground last Friday. While the club confirmed he is stable and undergoing medical tests, sporting director Max Eberl indicated the manager could be sidelined for several weeks.
"I just opened my phone to a WhatsApp from Vince straight away, saying 'well done', and he was happy."

Danks, who took charge of the team in Kompany's absence, noted that the squad had to demonstrate resilience against a formidable Freiburg side. Beyond the managerial situation, the club is also managing a minor foot injury for goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, though staff remain optimistic about his return in the near future.
