De Zerbi seeks fresh start for Tottenham following Marbella training camp

Roberto De Zerbi took his squad to Spain to build team unity as Tottenham look for their first Premier League win of the season against Coventry City.
Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi has taken his squad on a warm-weather training camp to Marbella. The trip was designed to strengthen team spirit as the club looks to recover from a difficult start to the Premier League season, which has left them at the bottom of the table with only three points from six matches.
Building a collective identity
"They have to feel that they are a team. I think in Manchester, especially in the toughest moment after the red card, we showed we have character."
Roberto De Zerbi
The team showed resilience in their last outing, securing a draw against Manchester United despite being reduced to ten men following Rodrigo Bentancur’s dismissal. De Zerbi believes this character must now be translated into consistent performances at home, starting with Monday night's clash against a resurgent Coventry City side.
While Spurs have statistically dominated in terms of possession and attacking entries, they have struggled with finishing. De Zerbi remains optimistic that the bonding experience in Spain will help the squad turn their fortunes around and rewrite the narrative of their campaign.
