Barcelona Lodge Official Complaint Over Offensive PSG Chainsaw Tifo

Barcelona have reported PSG to UEFA following a pre-match display at the Parc des Princes featuring a chainsaw and the club's crest.
Barcelona have officially reported Paris Saint-Germain to UEFA following a controversial display by home supporters during their Champions League encounter on Tuesday night. The Catalan club was left furious by a massive banner unveiled at the Parc des Princes before the match began.
The tifo featured a masked figure in a PSG jersey wielding a chainsaw, which appeared to be slicing through the Barcelona club crest. The visual was accompanied by pyrotechnics designed to look like sparks flying from the blade. Below the graphic, a message read "Massacre, A La Parisienne," which translates to "Massacre, Parisian style." According to media reports, club sources described the display as "overly aggressive and offensive."
Drama on the Pitch
On the pitch, the atmosphere remained intense as PSG secured a 4-2 victory, ending Barcelona's 11-game winning streak. Desire Doue opened the scoring for the hosts, but Xavi Espart leveled for Hansi Flick’s side by firing a shot through the gloves of Matvey Safonov. PSG regained the lead through a Lucas Hernandez header before Lamine Yamal equalized again with a brilliant solo effort.
However, late goals from Vitinha and Fabian Ruiz ensured the French champions took all three points. The result leaves PSG at the top of the Champions League table with three wins from three games. Barcelona, suffering their first loss of the European campaign, now sit in fifth place.
"I think it was a fantastic game from both teams."
Hansi Flick
Despite the defeat, Flick praised his team's attitude, noting that mistakes were likely due to fatigue after a grueling run of fixtures. PSG manager Luis Enrique was equally impressed, specifically highlighting the difficulty of pressing Barca's talented individuals, including Pedri, Olmo, Raphinha, Anthony Gordon, and Pau Cubarsi.
"I think we played aggressively, strong."
Luis Enrique
UEFA has been contacted regarding the complaint, as the governing body prepares to review the events surrounding the pre-match display.
