Arsenal forward Alessia Russo has been officially named the England Women's Player of the Year. The 27-year-old secured the prestigious honor following a fan-voted process, edging out Chelsea duo Lucy Bronze and Hannah Hampton for the top spot.
Russo has enjoyed a prolific 2025-26 season, appearing in all 10 of England's fixtures and finding the back of the net five times. Her recent form was highlighted during the first leg of the 2027 World Cup play-off semi-final against Greece, where she netted the third goal in a convincing 3-1 victory.
